CAJUN SPICED SHRIMP OVER ANGEL HAIR PASTA

1/4 cup olive oil
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp honey
1-1/4 tsp dried parsley
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1-1/4 tsp Smallwood General Spice
1 lb uncooked medium-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
approx 8 ounces angel hair pasta, cooked

Mix the first 7 ingredients in a glass baking dish. Toss in the shrimp and stir to coat. Place in the fridge for one hour. Remove from fridge and preheat oven to 450 ° F . Meanwhile, prepare your water to for your angel hair pasta. Place shrimp covered with lid in oven until shrimp are cooked through. We usually cook ours for 20 minutes because we like our shrimp firm. Ladle the shrimp and cajun juices over plates of angel hair pasta.

This recipe is easily doubled.

The second time you make it, try to add more Smallwood General Spice if you like it extra spicy!
